Last year in the UK, Starbucks had sales of £398m. They describe their UK business as “profitable” and that they “seek to be good taxpayers and to pay our fair share in taxes” but paid nothing in corporation tax.
We don't think that's right.
In comparison, British company Costa Coffee had sales of £377m and a tax bill of £15m.
We want businesses to succeed, but only if they pay their fair share in tax. We want you to stand with us and tell Starbucks to live up to their motto: ‘The world is looking to Starbucks to set the new standard. We will lead’
If you agree that it's wrong for Starbucks to make millions in profits but pay nothing in corporation tax, sign our petition now.

I AM RECENTLY RETIRED AND AM WAKING UP A NIGHT WORRYING ABOUT MONEY – NOW THERE IS TALK OF TAKING PENSIONERS TRAVEL PASSES ETC AWAY FROM US, & TAXING PEOPLE IN THE LOWER TAX BANDS, WHILE PEOPLE LIKE STARBUCKS, COSTA & EVADE PAYING TAX. ALSO PEOPLE IN HIGHER TAX BRACKETS ARE TAKING A ‘TAX BREAK’
THE AVERAGE BRITISH PERSON IS BEING PENALISED AGAIN – WHY CAN’T THE GOVERNMENT GET TAXES FROM PEOPLE WHO CAN AFFORD IT – THEY MAKE THE LAWS AFTER ALL.
THIS IF WHAT REVOLUTIONS ARE FOUNDED ON!
